The public Gaussian-Splat registry.
35 scenes indexed — 28 from the SplatBench corpus (Mip-NeRF 360 + deterministic synthetic probes) and 7 third-party public splats we link out to. Every entry shows splat count, license, attribution, and a KHR-conformance badge so you know exactly what you're getting before you load it.
Why 23 and not 100?
The v3.2 plan called for ~100 seed scenes. We chose to ship honest numbers instead of fabricated catalog inflation. The truly-public splat ecosystem is small: most large datasets (DL3DV, ScanNet, ScanNet++) are gated CC-BY-NC and not redistributable, and consumer apps (KIRI, Polycam, Luma) do not expose stable raw-asset URLs. We index what we can verifiably link to. As contributors submit scenes, the registry grows.
No scenes match the current filters. Try clearing one — or submit a scene to help grow the registry.
Hosting policy
Per the v3.2 plan, the public registry is capped at $0.001 per view, total ≤15% of ARR. For the alpha we don't meter views — but every external scene links out to its upstream CDN, so the SplatForge bandwidth bill stays bounded by the SplatBench corpus alone (28 scenes). When the registry grows past free-tier limits we'll add per-view metering and a transparent monthly cost report.
Licensing: we accept submissions under CC0, CC-BY, CC-BY-SA, MIT, or
Apache-2.0. Research-open licenses (Mip-NeRF 360, Deep Blending) are tagged as
research-open and clearly distinguished from permissive consumer-OK licenses.
